Grand Turk by golf cart: was it worth it?
A breezy, flexible way to see the island—with turquoise water, friendly donkeys, and plenty of stops along the way.
One of my favorite things about Grand Turk is how easy it is to make the day your own. Renting a golf cart gave us the freedom to explore at our own pace, stop whenever something caught our eye, and see more than we could have on foot.
The island is small, relaxed, and full of personality. We found beautiful stretches of water, colorful local stops, and yes—the famous wild donkeys wandering around like they own the place.
My best advice is to bring water, sunscreen, and a little cash. Take your time, stay aware of the road, and leave room in the day to simply enjoy the beach. For our family, the golf cart was absolutely worth it.
